The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

The University of Findlay's theatre program closes its 2013-2014 season with "The Walls," a 2009 drama by noted Chicago playwright Lisa Dillman. The show opened April 9 and runs through April 13 in the Egner Center for the Performing Arts, Powell Grimm Theatre. "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" was performed at The University of Findlay Wednesday, Feb. 19 - Sunday, Feb. 23, in the Frank J. Egner Center fort the Performing Arts, John and Hester Powell Grimm Theatre.

The reviews are in with thumbs up for Baldwin Wallace University and Beck Center for the Arts collaborative presentation of "CARRIE: The Musical," directed by Victoria Bussert with choreography by Gregory Daniels and musical direction by Nancy Maier. The Plain Dealer calls CARRIE, based on Stephen King's 1974 heart-chilling novel, "a powerful wallop of a piece with a smart, pop sensibility balanced by real emotion ... it's like nothing that has come before." Runs through March 9, 2014.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall Semester 2013 at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

Thirty-seven Baldwin Wallace University fall sport student-athletes have been named to the 2013 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team. To qualify, each student-athlete had to have a minimum 3.495 grade point average or higher and achieve varsity status on his or her team. BW had the second most selections of any OAC institution.

Study abroad is a major component of Wofford's commitment to shaping globally connected citizens. Opportunities range from travel/study Interim projects to a full-year at a university abroad. Students may choose from more than 200 programs and 59 countries. Co-curricular opportunities include service-learning, internships and cultural excursions.
